Come spend a Sunday afternoon in the country at La Salette Portuguese restaurant in Sonoma where chef Manuel Azevedo will prepare a traditional meal of Sopas (braised beef in a minted broth with cabbage, bread and sweet potato), a traditional food of local Portuguese festas. An appetizer precedes the Sopas followed by  a traditional Portuguese dessert. Salon del Vino is hosting this special event at one of the Bay Area's only Portuguese restaurants. The meal is accompanied by a tasting of Portuguese wines from local distributor Vinos Unico.  Four Portuguese wines (one sparkling, one white, two reds) will be poured with the meal.
